It's the Ame Warashi, the rain sprite, from xXxHOLiC! I was inspired to draw her back a while ago when we were being drenched in rain here in Oklahoma. xD
I thought she'd be easy to do, with having so much area being black...but I was WRONG. *facepalms* All the little ruffled areas took a long time, and the black areas all have at least three layers of colors, trying to help make it more opaque. *sighs* It's for small tasks like that that I wish I knew how to use Photoshop. Someday! Sketched with mechanical pencil, lineart with Microns, colored with Copic Sketch markers, and background in scrapbook paper. --  Standard Disclaimer: The Ame Warashi is property of the lovely ladies of CLAMP.
